The following announcement comes from the Town of Amherst.
As per the direction of the Town of Amherst Emergency Operation Center, effective immediately, face coverings are required in all Town of Amherst buildings regardless of vaccination status. All employees, participants (players, coaches, referees, scorekeepers, etc.), spectators and attendees are required to wear face coverings at all times. Athletes and referees may remove their face covering during play only if the face covering can’t be tolerated.
For regular school day practices that begin at 6:40am, a bus is provided to transport the students and hockey gear from the rink to the high school.
There will be no bus service on school holidays, so students will need to arrange a prompt pickup after practice.
Students need to be out of the locker rooms and on the bus no later than 8:10am.
A reminder that Clarence Central School closings will not impact the JV Hockey club activities.
As long as the applicable ice rink is open, all practices and games will proceed as scheduled.
Exercise caution when traveling.
